Help Desk IT Support – Long Island

As a Help Desk IT Support, you will be supporting our customer base onsite and remotely across Long Island.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, test and install desktop hardware
  • Requires a moderate understanding of Active Directory
  • Requires knowledge of network security best-practices
  • Work with end users when issues arise
  • Perform system updates across networks
  • Work with end users over the phone to resolve issues

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 3 Years previous experience in IT Services
  • Familiarity with Sonicwall a Plus
  • Excellent expertise in troubleshooting hardware and operating system related issues for desktops and laptops
  • Working knowledge of Proxy, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMS and MS Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Datto/Barracuda Backups a Plus
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and be customer service-oriented
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field a Plus
